Police have arrested one person following a chase that began in Oklahoma City after an armed robbery.

After the robbery, the suspect stole a 2004 Infinity and took off on West Airport Road. Oklahoma City Police started the pursuit, but terminated it and contacted Mustang Police to let them know the suspect was headed their way.

Mustang Police spotted the suspect near Highway 152 and County Line Road. The officer tried to stop the driver, but the suspect sped away.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol then joined the chase. Police say the suspect reached speeds up to 100 mph, and weaved in and out of traffic.

A Mustang police cruiser managed to catch up to the suspect's car. The suspect struck the patrol car, lost control and traveled across several lanes of traffic. It then struck a pickup truck going northbound on Highway 4.

The suspect's car finally came to rest on the east side of Highway 4 near Highway 152.

Jim Gardner and Bob Mills SkyNews 9 were over the scene as the suspect was taken into custody. He was put into a patrol car, but an ambulance arrived minutes later. The suspect was transferred to the ambulance and transported to Baptist Medical Center in good condition.
