Week one wraps in the high profile murder trial for Becky Bryan, the wife accused of killing her husband, late Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan. The jury looked at graphic crime scene pictures, heard testimony about multiple love affairs, and listened to an intimate phone call after the murder.
In a phone call recorded by the OSBI, just days after the murder, Becky Bryan talked about the crime scene physical evidence and her feelings for the ex-lover, who would eventually testify against her. That's how prosecutors began the day.

Mark Holbrook faced his ex-lover, Becky Bryan, to testify about the last phone conversation between them. In it Holbrook says Becky told him police found the guy who murdered her husband and he had killed himself.
She also said they recovered his murder weapon and "she had been cleared of charges". The phone call got a reaction from the defense.
Defense Attorney Gary James argued the OSBI failed to do a forensic examination of Holbrook's phone.

Then, Chief Medical Examiner Eric Pfeifer described Keith Bryan's gunshot wounds, indicating the killer was "inches" from Keith Bryan at the time of the shooting.
The defense also called a witness, Cathy Thomas to contradict previous testimony. The psychologist testified that it's common after trauma for a witness to give conflicting stories of what happened.
When James asked, "If she is laughing would that be abnormal?", the psychologist replied, "Humor is a common coping mechanism" after tragedy. When challenged by prosecutors, the psychologist admitted - she had not seen someone laugh.
