Woman Robs Lawton Bank

The FBI and Lawton Police Department are searching for a woman who walked out of a Lawton bank with a wad of stolen cash.

The FBI and Lawton Police Department are searching for a woman who walked out of a Lawton bank with a wad of stolen cash.

Just after 5 p.m. Thursday, the woman approached a teller at Arvest Bank at S.W. 52nd Street and S.W. Lee Boulevard. She handed bank employees a note ordering them to stay calm and give her money. Workers complied and the woman left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The woman was last seen walking away from the bank. The suspect is described as a Hispanic female between the ages of 40 and 50. She's 5 feet 2 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds with black hair. She was wearing glasses, a pink top and red pants.
