Jaymie Adams was last seen December 9, 2011. Her body was found on January 7 near a dirt bike trail at Lake Stanley Draper. Prosecutors suggest Adams played a role in her death by posting sexually explicit ads for his wife on Craigslist.
A computer specialist testified the ads were posted from Justin's computer. In one of the ads, he testified Justin offers to drive their van around while Jaymie performs sex acts in the back seat.
Assistant District Attorney Jimmy Harmon told the court Justin knew he was putting his wife in danger, but the defense argued there is no evidence to show Justin posted those ads. Attorney Irvin Box pointed out the state has no evidence to show the alleged murderer, Joseph Cyr, ever responded to the ads. Cyr is currently being held on charges for the murders of Jaymie and her unborn child.
Police arrested Adams in January for the murders of Jaymie Adams and her unborn child just less than a month after Jaymie's body was found near Lake Stanley Draper.
