Yukon Police Officer Cleared In Deadly Accident

A Yukon police officer involved on a deadly crash has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

According to the Yukon Review, the district attorney will not take any action against Corporal Mike Stilley after he hit and killed a pedestrian earlier this month.

Yukon police say their preliminary reports show 33-year-old Adam Johnson may have been lying in the street when he was hit and killed by a patrol car.

The family of the victim says he was most likely sleep walking when he was hit around 5 a.m. Saturday, January 11, in 400 block of South Ranchwood.
