Where, oh where, have my Fall temps gone? WHERE OH WHERE CAN THEY BEEEEEEEEE?
Summer temps return to the state this afternoon as highs rise into the mid 80s. A weak boundary will shift winds, and speeds will stay low. These above normal temperatures will stay with us through Thursday.
I am tracking a slight chance of rain and storms this evening and tonight through eastern Oklahoma. A few strong storms will be possible, but most of the News 9 viewing area will stay dry.
A lull in the activity through mid-week before the remnants of hurricane Simon try to make it into Oklahoma. If, and that's a big IF, the moisture does make it here, rain chances will start Thursday and peak on Friday and Saturday. Temps will cool off by late week as well. It's October. I'm ready for cooler temps!
