There is good news for anyone frustrated with parking in downtown Oklahoma City. The city has a new plan to help ease some of those parking problems.
A new Arts District Parking Garage is now open on W. Main Street. It cost just over $24 million to build and is 10 stories tall.
The garage adds 802 new parking spaces to the downtown area. The city says current parking spots in the area are full, and that was stopping some companies from expanding.
The parking garage is located at 431 W. Main between Walker and Hudson Avenues. That's close to the Devon Tower, downtown Library and the Court House.
If you want to use it for the Thunder games, it's a half mile to the north of the Chesapeake Arena. It's also a short distance to the Myriad Gardens.
