Traffic Impacted Due To Wrong-Way I-44 Crash In Oklahoma City

Traffic is being slowed after a crash along Interstate 44 Friday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the crash happened along the northbound lanes of I-44 near Northwest 10th Street.

According to OHP, the agency received reports of a driver traveling the wrong way on the interstate, who later struck another driver head-on.

Four vehicles were involved in the crash, OHP said.

OHP said the driver traveled at least four miles in the wrong direction before crashing; that driver was the only person injured in the wreck.
