A family in southwest Oklahoma City was faced with a shocking discovery after a man returned home early Sunday morning to find his wife dead.
Police are now investigating. Residents near SW 15th and I-44 said they're stunned to hear of the death. They said the area is extremely quiet, and the victim and her husband always kept to themselves.

It was a calm night like any other on SW 17th St. where neighbors say the couple living in their home in the 3000 block just put up Christmas lights.
All was bright until around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, when Oklahoma City Police got the tragic call.
"Hispanic male was reporting that he had come home and found his wife deceased inside of the house at this time. We're still investigating," said Capt. Dee Patty.
Homicide detectives surrounded the brick home from corner to corner. They roped it off with yellow tape and police said they questioned several relatives who only spoke Spanish.
Investigators said it does not appear that it was a break-in, and there were no signs of forced entry, but that's no consolation for neighbors on the dead-end street who say they want answers.
"Investigators are looking into the story and elements of the scene and just go on with their investigation until they come up with something," Patty said.
Police told News 9 they don't have any witnesses or suspects at this time. They have not yet released the name of the victim. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
