OKC Man Arrested On Murder Charge In Connection To Wife's Death

Police arrested a man on a murder charge after his wife was found dead inside their home in southwest Oklahoma City, early Sunday morning.

Police arrested a man on a murder charge after his wife was found dead inside their home in southwest Oklahoma City, early Sunday morning.

According to police, at about 3:30 a.m., the suspect, 37-year-old Manuel Quinones, called police and claimed that he had returned home to find his wife dead. When officers arrived at the home, located in the 3000 block of S.W. 17th Street, they found the body of 42-year-old Maria Molina.

Police said Molina had trauma to her body consistent with homicide.

After speaking with Quinones, police said they arrested him on a first-degree murder charge. He has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

According to police, this is Oklahoma City's 56th homicide of 2014.
