The Seminole County Courthouse was placed on lockdown after a shooting threat was made.
The Seminole County Sheriff’s is taking precautions after they say a caller threatened to shoot anybody at the doorway or windows of the courthouse.
The lockdown appears to have been lifted as SkyNews 9 saw people exiting the building around 12:30 p.m.
A witness inside the building told News 9 a sheriff's deputy came inside the courthouse around 10 a.m. and told everybody to get down and lock the doors. A viewer also sent in an email claiming law enforcement has shut down Main Street in front of the courthouse, and are telling people to stay inside. That information has not yet been confirmed.
The sheriff’s office is still working to determine if the threat is credible.
