Little Axe Football Team To Play First Home Game After Locker Room Destroyed

The Little Axe football team will play its first home game Thursday night.

The team’s locker room had been destroyed by fire. Over the past week, they’ve had several donations from other schools, the National Guard, and the community.

Thursday night, even though they do have their blue jerseys back, they will be wearing new gold and black jerseys loaned by the National Guard instead. It’s their way of saying thank you to everyone who has helped out.
