New developments are coming to downtown Oklahoma City. News 9 got a bus tour of some of the places under construction.
The Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors, OKCMAR, invited commercial and residential real estate agents to join the tour. The bus stopped at seven locations showing new and future developments. Some of the places are still under construction.
Among the stops were The Commons on Classen, 21C Hotel & Museum, The Jones Assembly, Senior Health & Wellness Center, and several more.
Jerri Shepherd, a broker and owner of Metro First Realty, went on the tour today. She said, “It will help me because when someone asks me about why they should move or consider relocating to Oklahoma City, I’ll have an intelligent answer.”
What’s raw material now will turn into a new development, and there is something for all ages to enjoy.
OKCMAR President Rodney Burgamy hopes everyone will see the city the way he does. Burgamy said, “If I win the lottery and could live anywhere in the world, I would still have a home here in Oklahoma City.”
According to Burgamy, property values are growing and so is the real estate industry. Overall, it helps the local economy grow too.
