Oklahoma City Murder Suspect Arrested In Tulsa

A murder suspect wanted out of Oklahoma City was arrested in Tulsa.

Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said last week detectives got information that Sumeika Byrd was in Tulsa.

Tulsa Police Warrant Squad and agents from the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Byrd near the 5400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Byrd was wanted for the August 13, 2015 murder of Brendon Turner in Oklahoma City.

They say Turner was stabbed multiple times.

A warrant for Byrd was issued in June 2016.
