Distance Learning Plans Begin Monday For Students Across Okla.

Monday distance learning starts for students across Oklahoma.

Each district's plan is a little bit different but typically includes lessons or activities online and another option for students that don't have access to the internet.

Oklahoma City Public Schools plan is available online or learning packets are available at meal distribution sites.

The district's plan allows for feedback from teachers but lessons will not be graded. Grades for the end of the third quarter, up to about March 12, will count as semester grades. Any assignments with scores lower than 50 percent will be rounded up to 50 percent. Superintendent Dr. Sean McDaniel said students with averages of 50 or below will have extra credit options available to work on from home.

The supt. will be at Prairie Queen Elementary, one of the meal distribution sites, for the first day.

Other metro school district's plans are similar, but each have their own way of continuing learning from home and supplying students without internet access to the material.
