A Nicoma Park is accused of child sexual abuse, the OSBI reported.
Douglas Spencer, 51, was arrested at his own department on one complaint of rape in the first-degree by instrumentation and two complaints of indecent or lewd acts with a child under 16.
The Nicoma Park Police Department requested the OSBI's assistance after allegations were made against an officer in the department inappropriately touching a minor.
"There are multiple female victims that were both 14 at the time the incident occurred," said OSBI Spokesperson Brook Arbeitman.
Spencer's brother in blue alerted the OSBI.
According to investigators, the crimes happened several years apart and while Sgt. Spencer was employed with the Nicoma Park Police Department. The department is comprised of about a dozen officers. He's now on administrative leave.
In 2014, Sgt. Spencer became Nicoma Parks Schools' first resource officer. It's unclear if he is still working with the district.
"It's shocking and a little unnerving. It's certainly not something you would expect from someone who is sworn to protect the public," said Arbeitman.
Spencer was booked into the Oklahoma County jail. His bond was set at $450,000.
According to online records, he was able to bond out Friday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing, OSBI reported.
