Police Investigate After 2 Bodies Found In Bethany Home

Bethany police are investigating a possible murder-suicide Monday.

The Bethany Police Department said a man and a woman were found dead in a home near NW 27th Street and College Avenue. Officers said there was a gun inside the home, and no sign of a struggle.

"From our knowledge, the male who we cannot identify at this time, until we contact relatives, was the person on the lease. There is a female here also, she was not on the lease, but from reports, she is the gentleman's girlfriend," said Lt. Angelo Orifice.

The state medical examiner's office will determine the exact cause of death.
