1 Dies In Drowning At Lake Chickasha

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirms one person has drowned at Lake Chickasha on Memorial Day.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirms one person has drowned at Lake Chickasha on Memorial Day.

OHP officials said Zachary Tryon and two other men jumped into the water to rescue a young girl near the north dock. Two of the men pulled the child to safety, but Tryon drowned.

According to officials, Tryon was was not wearing a life jacket.
