Witnesses have reported racist graffiti at the Cleveland County Democratic Party headquarters, as well as other locations in Norman Wednesday.
Graffiti was spotted at the party's Norman headquarters located at 300 W. Gray Street.
This is the second location of the Democratic Party to be vandalized in the state. The first incident occurred Thursday, March 28, at the Oklahoma Democratic Party’s headquarters where racist graffiti was also found.
Oklahoma City police are continuing to investigate the incident as a hate crime.
Norman Public Schools issued a statement Wednesday morning saying:
We were notified this morning that graffiti was found at McKinley Elementary. The school administrator notified the police department and we are working to identify who did it. We are also in the process of removing it.
An additional statement from Norman Public Schools Superintendent Nick Migliorino was released later saying:
"I was disgusted and heartbroken this morning to learn that racist and hateful graffiti was found at McKinley Elementary School. I share the McKinley community’s shock and outrage at this vile act.
We condemn these messages of hate, and the cowardly person or persons responsible for them, in the strongest possible terms. They are in direct opposition to our stated core values of integrity, inclusiveness, optimism and collaboration. Norman Public Schools, as a reflection of our community, stands as a place where students, families and staff of all backgrounds are welcomed and celebrated. The perpetrator of this deplorable vandalism does not represent the spirit of our schools or the tens of thousands of residents who stand united against hate and bigotry.
I am grateful for and proud of our school staff’s quick response this morning. We will cooperate fully with Norman Police and assist in any way we can to ensure that the culprit is prosecuted to fullest extent of the law."

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle.
This is a developing story.
