Multiple Fire Crews Knock Down Del City Apartment Fire

Multiple fire crews knocked down an apartment fire in Del City, Wednesday morning.

According to officials, the fire was at the Heights on 44th apartments near Southeast 44th Street and South Bryant Avenue.

The fire reportedly started on a balcony in the rear of one of the apartment buildings, officials said.

The building was evacuated, and two units were destroyed by the blaze. Other units are reported to have heavy smoke damage.

One woman was injured after jumping out of a first floor window. The extent of the victims injuries are currently unknown, officials said.

There are currently no reports on the condition of the victim.

Del City, Midwest City and Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to the scene.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
