A blast of freezing rain moved into central Oklahoma late Wednesday afternoon causing wrecks across the Oklahoma City metro area.

A winter storm moved into Oklahoma on Wednesday into Thursday, bringing with it freezing rain, sleet and snow.

Although the Oklahoma City area proper has seen very little snow, much of the western part of the state has seen quite a bit.
