A body was found in a creek in Norman, law officers reported.
The body was found Tuesday near Griffin Memorial in Norman.
Norman police and paramedics arrived on scene and confirmed that the person was deceased.
The body was found on state property owned by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services at a site just east of Reed Avenue and south of Food and Shelter Inc.
Since state property is under the jurisdiction of the Sheriff’s Office, Norman turned the scene over to CCSO Investigators.
Cleveland County officials said the body was that of a white man in his late 40s. There were no signs of a struggle and no signs of trauma on the body.
