Victim Identified In Deadly Shooting At NW OKC Apartment

Officials have identified the victim in a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City. 

Officers identified the victim as Sammy Atkinson Jr. of Oklahoma City. 

The shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the City Heights North Apartments located near Northwest Expressway and Candlewood Drive. According to the report, the victim was found inside his apartment with apparent gun shot wounds. 

There have been no arrests in this case. Police have not released a suspect description.
