The scene was chaotic after two men were shocked in the Bricktown Canal on Sunday night, according to newly released body cam footage from the Oklahoma City police.

One man died from electrocution and the other man is in critical condition at last check.

Fire officials said one man tripped over a light pole and fell into the canal near the 100 block of S Mickey Mantle Drive.

While the man, 23-year-old Wesley Seeley, was trying to get out of the canal, he grabbed the exposed wires from the lamp, police said.

The second man, Brandon Gann, of Arkansas, reportedly tried to help the first man get out of the water and was shocked, leaving him critically injured.
