Labor Day weekend is coming to an end and thousands of people are making their way back home from weekend festivities.
According to AAA, four people died in car wrecks in 2017 during the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Officials said drugs or alcohol played a part in two of those fatal wrecks. The Oklahoma Highway Safety Office reported 426 crashes last Labor Day weekend, 44 of those were alcohol or drug related.
This weekend AAA Oklahoma expects more than 3,100 roadside rescues due to vehicle issues.
AAA encourages anyone going out on Labor Day to have a plan on how they will get home.
