A round of severe storms swept through the metro leaving behind damage and power outages Tuesday evening.
According to the OG&E’s outage map, over 4,000 customers were without power. That included over 3,400 customers in the Oklahoma City, 418 in Hennessey, 338 in Mustang and 202 in Yukon.

Severe storms bringing hail and high winds also caused significant damage on Oklahoma City’s southwest side. A gas station awning crashed down near Southwest 15th and Interstate 44.
