A Corpus Christi woman loves her 15-year-old dog so much she threw a quinceanera to celebrate it.

A fiesta de quince años is a celebration of a girl's 15th birthday. It has its cultural roots in Latin America but is widely celebrated today throughout the Americas, according to Wikipedia.

Lupita Conchita received the birthday party thrown by her owner Miranda Sanchez while her cousin Megan shared the photos on Twitter.

Megan's tweet has gone viral with over 16,000 retweets and more than 57,000 likes since Sunday, July 29.
