Police Arrest Suspect After Pursuit In South OKC

Police arrested a suspect involved in a pursuit near southeast Oklahoma City, Sunday. 

The pursuit with Midwest City Police started near I-40 westbound and Southeast 15th Street at approximately 2:30 p.m. The vehicle was described as a white dodge Durango. 

Authorities say there were four children inside of the vehicle, causing officers to terminate the pursuit. The suspect eventually crashed in Oklahoma City.  

Police describe the suspect as a female driver. Officers said the suspect attempted to bail on foot but was arrested near Southwest 29th Street and Lee. 

Officers said the suspect was wanted for larceny at a Kohl's department store in Midwest City.

The suspect's identity has not been released.
