WARNING: Lake Hefner Shooter Rants On YouTube

During a press conference Friday, Captain Bo Mathews with the Oklahoma City Police Department said 28-year-old Alexander C. Tilghman, of Oklahoma City, opened fire from the front door of Louie’s Bar & Grill on Lake Hefner Thursday evening.

Four people were injured, including a mother and daughter who were attending a birthday celebration. Police said all are in good condition Friday.

Tilghman was confronted and shot to death by two men outside of the restaurant.

As investigators try to determine a motive, News 9 has learned he had a YouTube channel called “Yahweh Rules 2”.

Over the past month, Tilghman posted more than two dozen disturbing videos.

In the videos, Tilghman talks about demons taunting him.  He also talks about suicide, that he’s losing his mind, and that he needs help. But he never gets it.

“And as soon as I went out there you can hear it, there’s a drone that’s been watching me.” Tilghman said in a video titled “Demon child sends drone after me”.

In another one, he says “I’m under hardcore demonic attack”, and “I really need some real people in my life." He proceeds to ask people to call and to get in touch with him.

The videos show Tilghman as a very disturbed man: That he believes most people are clones or demons and that he might be part of a computer program. 

“All the bugs, animals and stuff they look at me and stuff evily,” Tilghman said in another video.

Tilghman hung posters throughout the northwest side of OKC saying “Demons in Cloned Transexual Bodies”. 

Katy, who asked News 9 not to use her last name, saw the posters, checked out the videos, and called police in December.  But she said cops blew her off.

"I felt like I was wasting her time. I felt like she didn't take it seriously. And I was just like no, just look at these videos. Like somethings wrong with him. He's not stable,” said Katy. "I feel like it could have been prevented. Even if they had just looked at his videos where he was crying out for help, saying he was suicidal."

Tilghman Shooter did say in a video, “I’ve also been suicidal.  I mean there’s no point in living if I can’t find a real human.”

Criminologist Doctor Howard Kurtz of South Western Oklahoma State University agrees Tilghman was disturbed, and said we may never get answers about why Tilghman opened fire.

"There won't be,” said Kurtz. “Because there is no real motivation.  He didn't know the people he was shooting. He didn't have anything against them personally. He was simply acting."

Katy said she just wishes Tilghman had gotten the help he needed.

“So yeah, I’m definitely losing it”. Tilghman said in one video, “I really can’t go on. I really need some help. Please.”
