The state medical examiner's office has identified the body found Wednesday in McClain County.
Shaliyah Toombs, 23, was identified as the body found in a man's pickup early Wednesday at a gas station near Interstate 35 in McClain County.
A man approached a Lighthorse police officer and said he was out of gas. He later told the officer he had a body in the back of the pickup.
Deputies arrested Daniel Vasquez who was one of two men in the pickup. Vasquez was booked into jail on an accessory after the fact complaint.
Toombs was reported missing Sunday night from a southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.
Toombs's family said she texted her mother Sunday morning and said someone was trying to kill her. Her family told police she had not reached out to them since that text.
Toombs was seven months pregnant, according to the missing person's report from Oklahoma City.
The McClain County sheriff's office is investigating the death and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting.
