MWC Doctor Facing Wrongful Death Lawsuit

A disgraced Midwest City doctor is now the subject of a wrongful death lawsuit.

Regan Nichols is accused of supplying 21-year-old Chelsy Dockery hundreds of narcotics pills just before her death in August of 2013. Nichols is already facing five criminal counts of second-degree murder in the overdose deaths of Dockery and four other patients.

Irven Box’s law firm is representing Dockery’s family.

“Makes you wonder how many people maybe didn’t die,” Box said, "but got so addicted that they’re addicted to this day, based on the dosage she was given."

A preliminary hearing in the Dockery case is scheduled for May 2nd.
