OKC Company Thriving During Bowl Season

As we draw closer to college football bowl season, Oklahoma City's MTM Recognition is busy making trophies for the winners of the games.

College football teams work hard on and off the field, just like the 80 employees over at MTM who create more than 25 college football trophies and awards. MTM has been making trophies for more than 45 years now and college bowl games for almost 20.

MTM’s Brad Myers likes to compare his team to the teams on the field.

“One football player doesn't win the trophy. He doesn't win the whole game. Every member on the team plays their part to build the final product."

The team starts their trophy making work early. Staff work on creating most of the trophies while football teams are in their regular season to ensure the bowls have them for their media days.

The Alamo, Orange and Dollar General Bowl Game trophies are just a few of the items the company produces.

“Our people take a lot of pride seeing that trophy hoisted,” Myers says, “knowing they put their hard work into it just like the players put their hard work into it.”
