Oklahoma’s Rodney Anderson and CeeDee Lamb were each named Player of the Week by the Big 12, the conference announced on Monday.
Anderson is the Co-Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 181 yards and a touchdown in OU’s 49-27 win against Texas Tech. His 202 all-purpose yards were the most by a Sooner this season. Anderson split the honor with Kansas receiver Steven Sims Jr. who registered 233 receiving yards and a touchdown against Kansas State.
Lamb was named Newcomer of the Week after setting OU single-game freshman records with nine catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns in the Sooners’ win. Lamb is second on the team with 30 catches and 540 receiving yards this season to go with six touchdowns.
