Three Things To Know About Tonight's Thunder-Hawks Matchup

Following a win over the Suns, the Thunder look to make it two-straight victories when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday at 7 p.m. Here are three things you need to know about tonight's game:

Hawks want revenge

Two weeks ago to the day the Thunder went into Atlanta and snuck out of town with a 102-99 win as five OKC players scored in double-digits. Russell Westbrook picked up his usual triple-double in the win as the Hawks dropped their seventh-straight contest. 

Despite leading by as many as 15 points late in the third quarter, Atlanta made things interesting down the stretch but Tim Hardaway Jr. missed a game-tying three-pointer with two seconds left on the clock as the Thunder held on for the win. 

Atlanta has gone 3-2 since that game but are coming off a loss to the Hornets, so look for the Hawks to play hard in order to split the season series. 

Another triple-double streak?

Following seven consecutive games with a triple-double, Westbrook went three games without tallying one before getting back on track in the win over the Suns on Saturday with 26 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 22 assists. 

Westbrook has recently admitted the "triple-double storyline" is starting to annoy him, but that doesn't mean he'll stop trying to record them on a nightly basis. Don't be surprised to Westbrook notch another one tonight in a competitive matchup against Atlanta point guard Dennis Schroeder. 

Oladipo not ready to return

Thunder shooting guard, Victor Oladipo, is still without a return date after taking a nasty spill in OKC's win over the Celtics last week. Oladipo has sat out of the last three Thunder games, and won't play tonight as he continues to nurse his sprained right wrist. 

After starting Jerami Grant in Oladipo's place in losses to the Blazers and Jazz, Donovan opted to insert Anthony Morrow into the starting lineup and it paid dividends in the win over the Suns. Morrow scored 11 points and did a great job spacing the floor as he shot 3-for-4 from behind the arc.
