Moore police have arrested one person in connection to an attempted robbery that prompted the lockdown of four Moore schools Monday.

According to police, 27-year-old Dustin Matthew Lamson has been arrested in connection to an attempted robbery that happened Monday morning in the parking lot of Sammy's liquor store near S.E. 4th and Eastern.

The store owner told News 9 his friend showed up at his store just after 9 a.m. and that's when a man with a knife approached him at the parking lot. The friend ran inside the store and the man with a knife took off running.

Four nearby schools, Moore High School, Highland East Junior High, Apple Creek and Vista Academy, were placed on a lock down as a precaution, while police searched for the suspect in the area.
