Russell Westbrook recorded his fifth triple-double of the season with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists but it wasn’t enough as the Thunder (8-6) fell to the Pacers 115-111 in overtime.
Jeff Teague led Indiana (7-7) with 30 points and nine assists as the Pacers have now won three of their last four games.
Another unacceptable loss for #Thunder, losing to another average team w/o its 2 best players. No ifs/ands/buts. It gets harder soon @NEWS9

OKC came out of the gates flat on offense as Indiana built up a 30-21 lead after one quarter and held a four-point lead at halftime. Things didn’t get much better for the Thunder in the third quarter as the Pacers extended their lead to as many as 15 points after Teague nailed a 3-pointer to go up 76-61.
It took some time, but the Thunder’s offense got it together somewhat in the fourth, opening the quarter on a 7-0 run and clawing within seven points before Westbrook checked back in the game for the final stretch.
With OKC’s star point guard back on the floor things got interesting.
OKC was suddenly within striking distance and Westbrook was playing lights out. Westbrook drained a three, set up Morrow for a trip to the free throw line, assisted a Kanter layup and then finished off a tough lefty layup at the rim to cap an 8-0 run that tied the game.
Despite OKC’s resurgence, the Pacers led 103-100 with 4.6 seconds left in the game leaving the Thunder with one last possession. With Oladipo inbounding the ball, Westbrook used a Steven Adams’ screen to free up some space before catching the pass from Oladipo and calmly drained a game-tying money ball to force overtime.

It appeared all the momentum was in OKC’s favor, but Indiana started the extra session on a 7-to-2 run and OKC didn’t have enough firepower to climb out of yet another hole.
Enes Kanter was second on the team in scoring with 16 points while Oladipo added 14 points, five rebounds and six assists. No other player scored in double digits, but Jerami Grant did have a solid night off the bench with nine points on 3-of-3 shooting.
Six Pacers players scored in double figures and knocked down 11-of-22 shots from three.
OKC will be back in action on Tuesday when they take on the Lakers in Los Angeles.
