ME: Michael Vance Died From Perforating Gunshot Wound To Neck

The Medical Examiner’s office released the cause and manner of death for manhunt suspect Michael Vance.

Vance, 38, was shot and killed by OHP troopers on Sunday evening, ending Vance’s alleged violent rampage that began on October 23. Vance was wanted on multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his relatives, Ronald and Valerie Wilkson in Luther, Oklahoma.

The ME confirmed with News 9 Wednesday morning that Vance died from a perforating gunshot wound to the neck. His manner of death is listed as homicide. 

The ME's office said the number of times Vance was shot will be in the autopsy report, which has not been completed at this time.
