Oklahoma State women’s basketball took a hit on Monday with the announcement that freshman guard Jaden Hobbs will miss the upcoming season due to injury. Hobbs suffered an apparent leg injury in Sunday’s 97-42 exhibition win against Southeastern Oklahoma State.
"Everybody involved with our program feels for Jaden," Cowgirl coach Jim Littell said. "It is especially difficult any time a player who loves the game and has a passion for it like she does has to sit out due to injury."
The Alva, Okla. native was expected to make an immediate impact for the Cowgirls as a true freshman this season. She had 10 points, four assists and two steals in 19 minutes of play before the injury.
