Body Found In Water At Park Near Lake Hefner

Police are investigating after a man's body was found in the water at a park near Lake Hefner, Wednesday evening.

Investigators and a police dive team were called after someone reported seeing the body in the water at Stars and Stripes Park, located on the south shore of Lake Hefner, near S. Hefner Dr. and N. Portland Ave.

According to investigators the body was located approximately 30 yards from the shore in about an ankle deep of water. Right now, investigators are only saying the body is that of an adult male.
