There's nothing like some good ole fashioned trash talk heading into one of the biggest college football games of the year, but as Oklahoma gets set to host Ohio State this Saturday, the chatter from the OU side comes from an unexpected player.

While appearing on Sooner Sports Wednesday night, true freshman backup quarterback Austin Kendall said some bold things about the daunted Ohio State defense.
“I think they have a really basic defense,” Kendall said. “I think we can go out there and, I mean, Baker, he’ll light them up. I’m really looking forward to it. If my number’s called, I think I can do the same.”

It's unlikely Kendall will see the field on Saturday against the Buckeyes barring injury, so its his offensive teammates who will have to face an angry Ohio State defense, a group that has yet to give up a touchdown on the season.
Here's what some Ohio State players have tweeted out about Kendall's comments:

His bold comments aside, Kendall looks to have a bright future at Oklahoma. The Waxhaw, NC product threw for 108 yards and two touchdowns while playing the second half against Louisiana Monroe last Saturday.
