Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By SUV While Crossing I-35 Near Ardmore

A pedestrian has died after being hit by an SUV while he was crossing Interstate 35 near Ardmore, Oklahoma, Wednesday night.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP,) just before 8:30 p.m. troopers responded to the crash at mile marker 34 on northbound I-35, a mile north of Ardmore.

Troopers said 42-year-old David Harber of Enid, was crossing I-35 when he was struck by a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Tahoe was going northbound on I-35 at the time.

Harber was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner. Troopers listed the cause of the crash as “pedestrian action” in the OHP collision report.
