Preliminary Hearing Set For Tulsa Dentist Charged In Child’s Death

A preliminary hearing has been set for a Tulsa dentist charged with murder in the death of an Oklahoma City child.

A preliminary hearing will take place on November 18 in Oklahoma County for Bert Franklin.  Franklin, 35, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 19-month-old Lincoln Lewis.  

The Oklahoma Board of Dentistry has temporarily suspended Franklin’s dental license due to dozens of patient complaints the board has received.  He is now also facing two counts of obtaining money by fraud in Tulsa County.
