The Oklahoma City Thunder signed guard Semaj Christon, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Thunder have signed Semaj Christon (55th pick in 2014). He's spent time most recently overseas. He'll likely be with the Blue this year.

Originally selected in the second round (No. 55 overall) of the 2014 NBA Draft, Christon (6-3, 190) spent the 2015-16 season playing in Italy with VL Pesaro where he appeared in 30 games and averaged 14.3 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 33.2 minutes.
Christon spent the 2014-15 season with the Oklahoma City Blue where he appeared in 44 games and registered averages of 18.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.3 minutes. Christon finished the season as one of only two players in the NBA D-League to average 18+ points, 3+ rebounds, 5.5+ assists and 1.5+ steals.
This past July, Christon helped guide the Thunder’s Summer League entry to a 4-1 record after leading the team in assists (4.3 apg) and finishing second in scoring (16.8 ppg).
In two seasons at Xavier, Christon averaged 16.2 points, 4.4 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 64 collegiate contests. Christon became only the second player in school history to hit the 1,000-point mark as a sophomore. Christon was a unanimous 2014 First Team All-Big East Conference selection and a member of the 2014 All-Big East Tournament team.
