Just when you thought the furor over KD's decision to leave the Oklahoma City was about over, comes this from a 9th grade algebra teacher in Indiana.
Tucker Hein, who two months ago graduated from OU, just taught his first day of school, and he put up a bulletin board in his classroom that's going viral on the Internet, because it takes a shot at former Thunder favorite son, Kevin Durant.
This is what his students in Indiana were greeted with when they walked into his classroom.
The bulletin board read "Mr. Hein's classroom is a NO KD ZONE."
Then you can see the Oklahoma City Thunder pennant in the middle of the board.
But it's the three statements at the bottom that got my attention.
The first says: "You will not take the easy way out," an inference to Kevin Durant going to a team that's already one a title.
The second reads: "You will not quit on me and I will not quit on you."
And the last one: "You will not walk away from a challenge."
I know Hoosiers are huge basketball fans so many of his students probably got the KD reference.
I've reached out to Mr. Hein to see how they reacted to it.. and why he did it, I'll let you know when I hear back.
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
