News 9's Dean Blevins was at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame on Monday and caught up with professional golfer and Oklahoma State University alumnus Scott Verplank.
Verplank was inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame Monday evening and looked back on his golfing career both at OSU and as a professional.
During his college career, Verplank won the 1985 Western Open and became the first amateur to win a PGA Tour event since 1956.
Verplank was one of six men inducted into the hall of fame Monday.
The other inductees were Bob Barry Jr., Brian "The Boz" Bosworth, Joe Dial, Leon Heath and Jimmy Houston.
