Man Accused Of Holding Woman, Child Hostage At Gunpoint In Chickasha

Chickasha police arrested a man who is accused of holding a woman and an infant child hostage at gunpoint Sunday afternoon.

According to police, just after 1 p.m. officers received a report of a hostage situation. The caller told police that his girlfriend and infant child were being held against their will at a home in the 1400 block of S. 5th by a suspect armed with a shotgun.

Officers responded to that home and several people came outside. They spoke with the suspect, later identified as Jesse Keene. Keene was then arrested and booked into the Grady County Jail on complaints of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, and unlawful possession of a sawed-off shotgun.

No one was injured during the incident. The case will be reviewed by the Grady County District Attorney for consideration of charges.
