Covell Road In Edmond Closed To Thru Traffic Due To Erosion Damage

Covell Road in Edmond, between Air Depot and Midwest Blvd., is being shut down to repair significant erosion damage next to the road at Coffee Creek Bridge.

A water main break in the area is being blamed for the erosion. Crews estimate the road will be closed through the weekend while repairs are made.  

Local traffic will be allowed to access homes and businesses, but thru traffic is asked to find an alternate route.
