Blanchard Police Investigate String Of Auto Burglaries

Blanchard police are investigating nearly two dozen of auto burglaries. 

Blanchard police Chief Stacey White said it is the most he has seen in one time, but investigators say they are closing in on the those responsible.

The break-ins happen the same way. A thief walks around a neighborhood and searches for doors left unlocked. 

So far, the thieves have taken mostly small items such as cash, jewelry and electronics. 

Police have found some of the stolen items but not all.
