Neighbors say the 3100 block of S. Shartel in Oklahoma City was blocked off by police and first responders on Tuesday night.

Daniel Curriston, a neighbor, says he was walking home when he saw all the commotion. “She said some guy ran up in a house and shot somebody,” said Curriston.

Police confirm two men were assaulted inside a home. Pedro Banuelas, 45, was killed. A 14-year-old juvenile is at the hospital. Police alerts show he is in “grave condition”.

“Investigators have not found any suspect information nor have they determined what the motive was for the assault,” said Oklahoma City Police Msgt. Gary Knight.

Police say family members found the two injured.

Another neighbor, Angelina Franklin, said she is shocked. “I give my condolences to the family that they lost their loved one. I hope that little juvenile, I hope he pulls through.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the homicide hotline at 405-297-1200.
