Sonic Drive-In delivered a special surprise for teachers in Oklahoma City, on Friday.
In honor of teacher appreciation month in May, Sonic launched the #ThankTeach campaign to give public school teachers across the U.S. the thanks they deserve.
On Friday, Sonic presented Oklahoma City superintendent Aurora Lora with a check for about $80,000. That money will be used to fund 111 classroom projects across the district.
The giving is not over. In a partnership with actress and dancer Julianne Hough, Sonic says they will donate up to $1 million to school teacher projects.
All you have to do is post, share and retweet using the hashtag #ThanksTeach. The campaign last through the end of May.
